These are exciting times for the LGBTQ community. There is a shift happening in the United States and around the world. Many LGBTQ people are standing up for who they are and our right to love who we want to love. Even with marriage becoming legal slowly in state after state, we still see the backlash from homophobia.
From two transgendered women being beaten on a train in Atlanta to Dr. Robi Ludwig a pop psychologist stating on FOX news that the obviously straight Isla Vista killer was actually a gay man jealous of the women gettting the men, LGBTQ face homophobia daily still. Yes, we can be more out now more than ever but this does not mean that we grew up feeling safe being who we are are, or safe to love who we love.
Whether you are out or not, can impact how you feel about whatever situation you are in or whatever you want to do moving forward. When you add trauma, depression or anxiety to the mix it can become uncomfortable.
I can help I have a deep understanding of the struggle of LGBTQ and expertise with Anxiety, depression and trauma. We will develop a plan to help you move pasted your pain with reasonable and simple steps you can take to help you feel better.
